By virtue of an agreement between the President of the Association "Les Amis du Carré Bleu Loi 1901" and President Michele Capasso, as of No. 13 of "La Collection du CB" the "United States of the World" will collaborate permanently with the "feuille internationale d'Archikecture".
The Human Rights Commission of the United States of the World met in Marrakech. On the agenda were violations of human rights, especially in countries at war: Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, Yemen and many others. It was unanimously agreed to make every effort in all fora, but especially through the network of member associations and civil society organisations to reaffirm the inviolable value of human rights. On this occasion, the 2024 Yearbook was presented.
The meeting of the "Council of Ambassadors" of the United States of the World took place in Rome and Naples also remotely connected. Many topics were discussed by the participants and invited experts: from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to the war between Ukraine and Russia; from the problems of climate change to the alarm over the Amazon rainforest; from the need to train new generations in the values of ethics and dialogue to new inter-university training programmes. Secretary-General Michele Capasso expressed his appreciation for the quality of the interventions and the concrete programmes put in place for "Earth" and "Peace". Of particular interest were the sessions - open to students and the public - devoted to the upcoming US elections and the topic "Youth and Ecological Conversion".
A series of events took place in Rome to present the "United States of the World". Many participants were presented with the 2024 Yearbook by Secretary-General Michele Capasso and Pia Molinari. Lucio Caracciolo, editor of the magazine Limes - among others - expressed his appreciation for this initiative that started in 1987 and took more than 35 years to reach the approval of the Constitution of the United States of the World.
Students and teachers from the Istituto Comprensivo "Di Giacomo - Santa Chiara" visited the headquarters of the United States of the World with the Museum of Peace. Welcomed by Secretary-General Prof. Michele Capasso from 5 to 8 February, several classes visited the main emotional paths. On this occasion, by resolution of the International Committee, the teachers and students (over 1,000) were named "Standard Bearers of the United States of the World".
