Maison de la Méditerranée

The "Maison de la Méditerranée" is the institution of the "United States of the World" for dialogue and cooperation in the "Greater Mediterranean".

It was inaugurated on 22 June 2002 in the presence of Heads of State and Government and constitutes a space where institutions and bodies from Euro-Mediterranean countries implement exchange and partnership actions: a shared place where actors of different orientations meet to compare experiences and cultures and bring their sensitivities closer together. The aim is to examine diversities and contrasts through a dialogue aimed at achieving peace and justice agreements for mutual security and shared development.
