Visit to the tomb of Pope Francis

Secretary-General Michele Capasso visited the tomb of Pope Francis at Santa Maria Maggiore.
After two hours in line - he deliberately refused the access reserved for him - the SG found himself in fairground bedlam. 
"Pope Francis did not want this,’ he said, ‘I promised to find a way to remember him in a permanent and emotional way. I prayed for him for a long time, isolating myself spiritually from that multitude and turning my gaze to the icon of the Salus Populi Romani so dear to our unforgettable Pope".
