Protocol of Understanding signed between the United States of the World and the United Nations - UNAOC

Secretary-General Michele Capasso and United Nations Secretary-General and High Representative of the Alliance of Civilisations Miguel Ángel Moratinos signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding to coordinate their activities in favour of dialogue and peace, especially towards young people around the world.
In particular, the two institutions will endeavour to launch an Appeal for peace, against war and for the respect of international law by mobilising thousands of civil society actors on five continents.
After the first event in Gernika on 25 and 26 April, Naples will continue this initiative on 7 June with a meeting dedicated to the memory of Pope Francis.
