States General of Artificial Intelligence

A SUM delegation attended the event.
Following the success of the 2022 and 2023 editions, this year Class Editori and Class Cnbc once again called together the most important exponents on Artificial Intelligence, for a discussion on the development prospects of an engine of progress that has now come to the attention of the world.
Through national and international speakers, the 'States General of Artificial Intelligence 2024' gave space to the most topical and burning aspects of the 'generative and multimodal revolution', including governance, fake news, copyright, ethics, privacy and new skills.
Practical applications on the use of Artificial Intelligence tools were of great importance this year, thanks to the testimonies of the best companies from the most dynamic sectors that have already been able to build the winning models and solutions of the future.
The themes of the event:

  • Regulation and regulation beyond the AI Act
  • AI and geopolitics: political-institutional strategies and policy actions
  • Fake news, copyright protection and the future of media
  • AI Visions: how businesses are facing the challenges of AI
  • New skills for new professions: the role of education and training
  • Success stories: practical applications of AI in various business sectors, including Manufacturing, Banking & Finance, IT & Space, Energy and Healthcare.

Secretary General Prof. Michele Capasso warned of the unknowns and risks of AI for the whole of humanity if it is not managed as a 'common good' at the service of all and not as a new opportunity to 'imprison' human intelligence by enslaving it to new global economic and power systems.
